· Viscosys LLC offers a convenient solution to maintaining a wide range of superpave equipment. We provide calibration / validation programs that meet or exceed the requirements of AASHTO/AMRL. Instruments are calibrated / validated every 3, 6 or 12 months in accordance with AASHTO. We provide instrument & equipment support, offering on-site maintenance & repair where none previously existed and act as agent to expedite the acquisition of parts and support from the original equipment manufacturers (OEM).

· Viscosys is the only organization that offers a complete calibration / validation service for a wide range of superpave equipment. We combine multiple instrument types into one program, eliminating the need to have engineers from several different organizations visit independently to calibrate only one instrument. This reduces expenses & these savings reduce the overall cost of superpave lab support.

· Contract or no contract, it’s your choice. Viscosys provides ad-hoc calibration & maintenance services for customers that prefer not to have a written contact of service.

· All equipment & materials used during on-site calibration or repair are certified traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).

· Calibration certificates and records issued at the time of the site visit are also stored on our web server. Users are provided with a unique login to access these records.

Pre-AMRL checklist.
As part of our calibration procedures, we check all instrument / tooling tolerances as defined in the AMRL audit checklist for performance graded binder (PGB) instruments. Results of this check are issued along with the calibration documentation and stored on our web server.
